The 2017 FETP International Nights will be held during the 66th Annual EIS Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This event, co-sponsored by TEPHINET and the CDC, gives FETP trainees from around the world the chance to present their work to a global audience of public health practitioners. This year, the EIS Conference will be held from April 24-27, 2017. International Nights will be held on Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
International Night is hosted by the CDC Division of Global Health Protection and TEPHINET. The event provides a forum where Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) residents and graduates can not only give scientific presentations, but also increase their knowledge about surveillance, outbreak investigation, and recommendations that will strengthen public health systems and improve health outcomes in their respective countries. International Night also provides an opportunity for FETP residents and EIS officers to exchange ideas and expand the global network of epidemiologists who can be called upon in times of emergency.
This conference brings together students and graduates from Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETP) of members of the network countries in the world and during this venue, research works of different natures are presented and discussed, such as outbreaks, analysis or evaluation systems surveillance or other relevant topics for public health of countries. You will be able to view and participate in most of the sessions live and after the fact via the recordings. Register now!
